Guidelines
Since 2020, Tapping@GT/Resilience@Tech have received campus and system wide support. Thanks to the funding from the GT SGA Mental Health Coalition (MHJAC) in 2023 and 2024, we are encouraged to expand outreach to the student population. We welcome collaboration, and invite you to utilize the following resources by applying below. Applicants will be notified of the results on a rolling basis, by email and/or phone. The following availability is as of Feb. 23, 2025.
*MHJAC also invites you to reach out to them directly with your own funding proposals to support student mental well-being at Georgia Tech.

OPTION 3: Book Loan “Healing in Your Hands: Self-Havening Practices to Harness Neuroplasticity, Heal Traumatic Stress, and Build Resilience” by Dr. Kate Truitt. 8+ copies available. Audible link here

OPTION 6: Think Clear Machine
The Think Clear Machine is an FDA approved calming device, and is available to try in person. At this moment, we are still in beta testing and planning phase. Please inquire if you’d like to be one of the first to try them.
Option 7: Free Resources from the Peaceful Heart Network
Many other free downloads from the Peaceful Heart Network such as Tapping charts, and Tap-along videos (below) are available throughout the Tapping website and are noted as such. Please feel free to download, share, and/or incorporate them into your resilience supporting websites.
Option 8: Havening® Training
Any GT community members are invited to register for Havening® workshops/training that is offered by Mitsuko Ito at no cost, up until the end of 2027, thanks to the agreement between GT & Havening.org.

1. “ABC of Self-Regulation Tapping” Mini-Training
The ability to shift our stress response, to soother our own nerves, and building resiliency is critical in this day and age, and the long term implications are numerous. If you have enjoyed the workshops and would like to go through simple training to spread the goodness, join the brief training so you too can spread and share the information.
2. Weekly Tapping Circles
Tapping Circles are offered to support the campus by providing a safe space for a mid-day stress reset and to help support a new stress management habit. We we are also able to respond to questions, to guide participants through the exercises, to remind the benefits. To learn more about the Tapping Circles, please visit this page.
3. Monthly Workshops on 3rd Fridays
We are in our 3rd year of hosting the monthly workshops. Please join again as we sometimes have guest speakers, and bring your colleagues, friends and loved ones to enjoy the benefits of less-stress/ We do have the intention to send the replay to those who sign up (though sometimes !? we fall behind….).
